New at Titan
In May 2009, Titan truck opened its most recent division, Hotrods by Titan. The vision for this department came about years ago when several employees had a secret love for hotrods. But the vision became a reality in 2009, when Titan realized the potential for this market with its already trained employees with hotrod interests.
After much development and deliberation, Hotrods by Titan decided to target the aftermarket suspension and brake upgrade market. This division also does custom chassis fabrication and modification, as well as handling kits, airbag installation, coil over, and performance suspension.

History
Titan Truck Equipment and Accessories was founded on March 11, 1986 in Spokane, Washington by Greg and Deb Hauck as an outgrowth of their thriving car care business. As a fledgling light truck accessory warehouse distributor, Titan quickly began to grow and expand into all of Eastern Washington State calling on new and used car dealers, parts stores, customizers and others in the automotive aftermarket.
In 1990 Titan became the sister company to Nelson Truck Equipment of Seattle, Washington, a 63 year old distributor with an excellent reputation. With renewed vision, determination and hard work, sales began to expand into Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, with occasional sales as far as Alaska, California, Hawaii, Wyoming, and Utah.
The year 1992 brought more excitement as Titan began offering sales and installation of commercial truck bodies and equipment through the newly established Equipment division. This necessitated a move to a larger facility with greater capacity.
In 2002, Titan took advantage of an opportunity to enter the Utility Truck Equipment market by providing Versalift Aerial divices to utility companies, co-ops, public utility districts, and various entities of the local, state and federal government.
In 2006 Titan celebrated its first 20 years by recognizing 20 years of dedication by the first Titan employee, Chris Jensen. Again, in 2007 Titan was busting at the seams and badly in need of space. By mid-year, Titan had expanded, nearly doubling its capacity.
Today, Titan Truck has four successful divisions: Accessories, Equipment, Aerial/Utility, and Hotrods by Titan,
each providing a variety of products and services to a large and diverse customer base, primarily in the western United States. Together they host an annual show to exhibit new products and offerings at the Spokane Convention Center, followed by a customer appreciation party.
The credit lies with the owners who provide the resources and guidance, the employees of each division who diligently work together to establish Titan's reputation, and the customers who believe in the brand, allowing Titan to earn their business with every order. |
