What is the Yakima EXO Swingbase?
The Yakima EXO SwingBase is the key component to the Yakima EXO Hitch Mounting System . This EXO System is a multi-part, modular hitch storage system designed to take advantage of your hitch while saving roof, bed and interior space. The Yakima EXO SwingBase is where the EXO System starts. Attached to your trailer hitch, the SwingBase does exactly what you’d expect - it swings out, allowing full access to the inside of your vehicle or bed of your truck via the rear hatch or tailgate.
Moreover, the EXO SwingBase locks in place using easy-to-pull pins. When in the open position, lock the SwingBase into place while you access gear in your truck bed or rear hatch of your vehicle. It is fully functional when locked in the "open" or "closed" position.
While closed, lock the pins in place to secure the SwingBase for travel.

EXO GearWarrior:The Yakima EXO GearWarrior is an adaptation of the Yakima SkinnyWarrior, only designed to mount on the EXO system.
